Hailey was born 6 months early at 23 weeks. Shortly after she was born, she became really sick. She was on blood pressure medicine, steroids, and life support. She reached the point where the doctors had done all that they could do for her. Before we could hold her for the first time, the doctors reached the point where they could no longer do anything for Hailey. The staff asked us if we wanted to hold her and let her go in our arms. They planned to stop the meds and take the breathing tube out. We prayed like never before and didn’t understand why God would bring her to us like this just to take her back. Our pastor at the time, Bro. Wallace, told us to pray specifically for what we wanted and to give God a time frame. We prayed that if it be His will to take her, it would be peacefully. On the other hand, if He was going to heal her, we asked that it be complete and that it start that night. If not, we were going to let her go. We stepped out of the room for a few minutes and when we came back…BUT GOD!!! Hailey started showing signs of breathing on her own and
her oxygen down to 80%. In the middle of the night, she was down to like 30 or 40% (21% is considered being on room air so she was almost there!). Ever since, God has been faithful and has been working miracles in Hailey’s body daily. He’s not done yet!!
